Traffic handled at Paradip Port: Data for 13 Years

There is an interesting data on Paradip ports traffic handle from the fiscal year 2000-01 to 2013-14.

The total traffic handled at Paradip port in 2000-01 was 19900 thousand tonnes and it increased to 68003 thousand tonnes in 2013-14, recording a growth of 241.72% during the period of 2000-01 to 2013-14.

The traffic handled at Paradip port in the Overseas Unloaded category in 2000-01 was 6015 thousand tonnes. The traffic handled in Overseas Loaded category in 2000-01 was 3793 thousand tonnes. The traffic handled in Coastal Unloaded category in 2000-01 was 833 thousand tonnes. The traffic handled in Coastal Loaded category in 2000-01 was 9259 thousand tonnes.

The traffic handled at Paradip port in the Overseas Unloaded category in 2001-02 was 5742 thousand tonnes. It recorded -4.54% decline over the previous year. The traffic handled in Overseas Loaded category in 2001-02 was 4415 thousand tonnes. It recorded 16.4% growth over the previous year. The traffic handled in Coastal Unloaded category in 2001-02 was 920 thousand tonnes. It recorded 10.44% growth over the previous year. The traffic handled in Coastal Loaded category in 2001-02 was 10054 thousand tonnes. It recorded 8.59% growth over the previous year.

The traffic handled at Paradip port in the Overseas Unloaded category in 2013-14 was 38509 thousand tonnes. It recorded 4.51% growth over the previous year. The total growth recorded during 2000-01 to 2013-14 was 540.22%. The traffic handled in Overseas Loaded category in 2013-14 was 7346 thousand tonnes. It recorded 250.14% growth over the previous year. The total growth recorded during 2000-01 to 2013-14 was 93.67%. The traffic handled in Coastal Unloaded category in 2013-14 was 2163 thousand tonnes. It recorded -4.63% decline over the previous year. The total growth recorded during 2000-01 to 2013-14 was 159.66%. The traffic handled in Coastal Loaded category in 2013-14 was 19985 thousand tonnes. It recorded 30.3% growth over the previous year. The total growth recorded during 2000-01 to 2013-14 was 115.84%.
