Case has been registered against them on the basis of complaint lodged by DCPO Rajashree Das. Investigation is on. The future course of action will be decided after that.
Koraput DCPO Rajashree Das said,
I had got several complaints over phone on the helpline no 1908 regarding sexual harassment in the school. Since some of the complaints talked of harassment by teachers if students did not go to them for tuition, I visited the school with the BEO on July 19 and talked to the girl students. 15 girl student of class VIII and IX identified the teachers and said they often touched their bodies in classroom, library and school lawns. I moved the police on direction of district administration.
Subramaniam K.S., Prinicipal, DPS, Damanjodi, said,
The incident is unfortunate. Most of the allegations are anonymous. As the school is getting bad name unnecessarily, an inquiry is needed.
However, some parents see evil intention behind the filing of the FIR.
