Lt Gen P S Jaggi, Exhorted Sainik School Cadets to Dream High at Investiture Ceremony

The investiture ceremony of Sainik School Bhubaneswar was held with great enthusiasm and grandeur.  On this occasion 37 cadets took oath who shouldered different responsibilities for the new academic session.  Lt Gen P S Jaggi, Commandant, Army Air Defence College, Gopalpur graced the occasion as Chief Guest.  Capt (IN) Kanchan Mukherjee, Principal, Sainik School Bhubaneswar received the Chief Guest in presence of Commander Sushil Kumar, Vice Principal, Dr S D Singh, Senior Master, NCC Officers, staff and 600 cadets.  In his address to the cadets he exhorted to the cadets to dream high and follow the path of truthfulness, honesty, punctuality, dedication, obedience, sincerity etc. those are missing among the new generation day by day. He also asked them to read the biographies of great people that can guide them to be better human beings.

The Chief Guest appreciated the school fraternity as this institution has been serving our nation since 1962 as a nursery of officers for Armed Forces.  Other important dignitaries who witnessed the programme are Lt Gen KPD Samant, (Retd), Air Marshal J N Burma (Retd), Shri Pritish Basa, President OBA, Shri Amibabh Swain, Secretary OBA and Prof Dr. S Mishra, KIIT University, Bhubaneswar.
