Odisha’s Anita Pattanayak Appointed as Dy CAG

Senior Indian Audit and Accounts Service officer Anita Pattanayak from Odisha appointed as Deputy Comptroller and Auditor General.

Today the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the appointment of Shri Ashwini Attri (IA&AS:1981) and Ms. Anita Pattanayak (IA&AS:1982) as Deputy CAG with effect from 01.07.2017 vice Shri Prasenjit Mukherjee (IA&AS:1980) and Shri Hindupur Pradeep Rao (IA&AS:1981) respectively, who superannuated on 30.06.2017.

The ACC also has approved the appointment of Shri Ranjan Kumar Ghose (IA&AS:1982) as Deputy CAG with effect from 01.09.2017 vice Shri Rakesh Jain (IA&AS:1981), superannuating on 31.08.2017.

Anita Pattanayak served as the Principal Accountant General (PAG) of Karnataka. She is the daughter of former Odisha DGP Late Kishore Chandra Pattanayak of Cuttack.
