The first consignment of 30 MT of Diesel was dispatched today from India to Myanmar by land route. This maiden initiative was taken in line with PM Narendra Modi’s policy of ActEast.
The petrol tankers were exported by Numaligarh Refinery Limited (NRL) in India to Parami Energy Services Co. Ltd in Myanmar.
Union Minister of Petroleum & Natural Gas Dharmendra Pradhan lauded effort. More Indian companies are planning to set up their offices in Myanmar soon, said Pradhan.
