By Odisha Story Bureau, Bhubaneswar:
Dharmendra targets Odisha CM without taking his name: BJP
Usually media smells such intentions of politicians, as they say something against someone even without uttering his name. WE used to read such stories in media. For instances, “Rahul targets PM without taking his name” or “PM Targets Congress chief without taking her name” or even the above headline “Dharmendra targets CM without uttering his name.”
Now a days these type of headlines are common in media. It’s journalists who guess the targeted man, when a politician says something against someone.
But in a press handout released by Odisha BJP yesterday, it’s clearly mentioned that Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan targeted CM Naveen Patnaik over Farmer Suicide case without taking his name. Not the Media, it’s BJP who demanded that their leader was targeting CM without uttering his name.
What does that mean? Is the BJP leader scared of uttering CM’s name? If it’s true, then why the party will send such a headline? And if the party says that their leader is targeting CM without taking his name, what will be factor that bars the union minister to utter CM’s name.
The Press note in Odia language, released yesterday by the state BJP is heavily being criticised by journalists and netizens in social media.
However some people criticised the state BJP media cell for this type of irresponsible and childish press-note. Perhaps the media cell came to a conclusion that media would prefer to make such a headline and anticipating any other headlines they made it themselves on behalf of media.
