Patnagarh: Bi-lingual Movie Inspired by Infamous Parcel Bomb Case

Inspired by the infamous Patnagarh Parcel Bomb case, a bi-lingual (Odia-Telugu) film is being made by the National Award winning director, Rajesh Touchriver.

Patnagarh stars Bollywood actor Atul Kulkarni,  Yashpal Sharma, Ishika Singh, Madhu Shalini, Telugu actor Shiju, Rajeev Kanakala, Sana, Odia actor Any Choudhury, Pushpa Panda, Chittaranjan Tripathi, Chinmay Mishra and many more new faces both from Odisha and Andhra-Telengana regions.

Odia actor Manoj Mishra is expected to portray the role of Punjilal Meher, the mastermind behind the real Patanagarh parcel bomb case in Odisha that had happened on 23rd February 2018 and claimed two lives.

The film is being produced by Odia filmmaker Shridhar Martha. Initial Puja (religious ceremony) and location search for this upcoming movie have been completed. Paralakhemundi palace has been chosen as a major shooting location for the movie.

Tapas Nayak will be working as sound designer, while George Joseph will compose the music and background score for Patnagarh. Zashi Qmer and Rajeev Nair will work as film editor and art director respectively.

Come July the shooting for the movie will be started.
