Two Odias in World Cup Men’s Hockey Indian Team

Bhubaneswar: Birendra Lakra and Amit Rohidas from Odisha have been selected in India’s squad for the FIH Men’s Hockey World Cup 2018, slated to begin on November 28 here at Kalinga Stadium.

Lakra has made a comeback into the team after missing out on the Hero Asian Champions Trophy in Muscat in October.

Hockey India on today named the 18-member Indian Men’s Hockey Team who will represent the host nation.

Manpreet Singh will lead the team.
