Bhubaneswar: Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) announced to intensify its stir against BJD government from today. BJYM has called a conference of New Odisha Youth Coordinators from all 147 assembly constituencies today at Bhubaneswar to chalk out its future plan. Union Minister and senior BJP leader Dharmendra Pradhan will inaugurate the conference
In an press conference at BJP’s state office BJYM’s state president Tankadhar Tripathy accused the BJD lead Odisha government of encouraging corruption and discouraging the spirit of unemployed youth.
Tankadhar Tripathy said,
Odisha Govt has allowed officers to give work orders amounting up to 5 lakh without any tender. This policy is empowering BJD MLAs and they are acting like shadow contractors. Instead of giving oppertunity to unemployed Odia youth this policy encourages PC tradition.
Tripathy further added that the New Odisha Youth Coordinators conference was called to unite the Odia youth for their own rights. “Ek Heba – Hak Neba” is the slogan of BJYM for unemployed youths.
BJYM national vice-president Thakur Ranjit Dash was also addressing the press conference. He said that union petroleum and natural gas minister Dharmendra Pradhan will address the New Odisha Youth Coordinators from all 147 assembly constituencies.
Thakur Ranjit Dash said,
The Youth Coordinators will carry forward the message to their constituency. The youth sensitisation programme will reach each corner of the state. BJD leaders are becoming contractors and eligible young Odias are remaining unemployed. We will oppose this anti-youth policy statewide.
BJYM state general secretary Biswa Ranjan Badajena, N Rajendra Kumar and state secretary Om Prakash Mishra also addressed the media at the press meet.
