Bhubaneswar: India successfully test-fired nuke-capable ballistic missile Agni-V from Dr Abdul Kalam Island off Balasore coast yesterday. This is the seventh trial of the indigenously developed missile.
This nuclear capable 3-stage missile has a Length of 17 meters and Width of 2 meters. It’s Nuclear warhead is of 1.5 tonne.
It has advance features with higher reliability, longer shelf life, less maintenance and enhanced mobility.
According to media reports, the missile was launched with the help of a mobile launcher from launch pad-4 of the Integrated Test Range.
