Bhubaneswar: Telangana CM K Chandrashekhar Rao today started his national spree for united opposition by meeting the Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik. He asserted that the dialogue is necessary if a change has to be brought.
Naveen Patnaik hinted at the possibility of an alternative front with “like minded” parties following a meeting with Telengana Chief Minister and TRS President K Chandrasekahar Rao at Naveen Niwas here.
Talking to media-persons flanked by KCR, Patnaik said they discussed a host of issues at the meeting including matters of national matters.
Rao is on a four-day tour to meet various leaders to garner support for his proposed non-BJP and non-Congress front ahead of the 2019 Lok Sabha polls. His party, the TRS, has hired a special aircraft for a period of one month for Rao’s trips to various places.
From Bhubaneswar, the Telangana CM will proceed to Kolkata, where he will call on West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, Monday, the release had said.
