Bhubaneswar: The two-day nationwide strike done by the trade unions disrupted normal life in many parts of Odisha for the second day today. Trade unions are protesting on the anti-worker policies of the present ruling BJP government.
Protesters obstructed train services in Balasore, Berhampur, Cuttack and many other places in the state. Puri-Howrah Passenger is stopped at Balasore station.
Trade Union members were seen protesting in major towns. Traffic on road has been disrupted, which forced the commuters to reach their destinations above time.
Business establishments, banks, post offices, remained closed for second day. Educational institutions also remained closed in several districts.
