Bhubaneswar: Dharmendra Pradhan, Minister of Petroleum & Natural Gas and Skill Development & Entrepreneurship and Smriti Irani, Union Cabinet Minister of Textiles, Government of India held the live telecast of the Ujjwala Swabhiman Utsav at various places in Odisha, where both of them interacted with the LPG beneficiaries across the state.
Dharmendra said that the prices of LPG will be more lowered down by tomorrow. He also said that the present ruling government is always trying to benefit, develop and strnghten women empowerment. By providing LPGs to commom to poor women the health conditions and the budget of their houses, both can be well maintained. Through traditional way of cook many women were suffering from respiratory problems, eye irritation etc as it evolved lots of smoke. By providing smoke free LPG gas cylenders this problem was solved.
Smriti Irani pointed out that the Modi government not only cared about the cooking problem of the ladies but also emphasised on the problem of open defecation.
