Bhubaneswar: The KALIA scheme has shortlisted around 18 lakh beneficiaries to get monetary assistance under its second phase.
“More than 13 lakh farmers will be provided money under the scheme in the second phase. Additional five lakh beneficiaries have been identified for livelihood support under the scheme. They will receive Rs 5,000 under Rs 12,500-livelihood support category of the scheme,” informed Finance Minister Sashibhusan Behera today.
In the first phase the beneficiaries received the amount in their accounts through DBT process. This was done during a programme in Puri.
The date and venue for the second phase has not yet been decided.
