For Akshaya Patra Foundation Narendra Modi is at Vrindavan Today

Bhubaneswar/Vrundavan: Narendra Modi took to his tweeter and said “I will be in Vrindavan (Mathura,U.P) today for a unique programme- to mark the serving of the 3rd billionth meal by the Akshaya Patra Foundation.”

He along with it gave congratulations to all those associated with this mission. And added that those who are connected with their efforts towards eradicating hunger are exemplary.”

TAPF commonly known as The Akshaya Patra Foundation is a non-profit organisation in India that runs school lunch programme across India. The organisation was established in 2000.

Akshaya Patra feeds 17,62,133 children every day across India. It is operational across 39 locations in 12 states of India and It follows the Centralised Kitchen format in 37 locations and De-centralised Kitchen format in 2 locations.
