Odisha Election Watch to Hold Awarness Campaign: “My Vote Not for Sale”

Bhubaneswar: Odisha Election Watch in collaboration with Association for Democratic Reforms & PECUC is going to conduct Voter’s Awareness programme (Voter Chetana Abhijan)  through Mobile vans (Blue Button Express) campaign ‘My Vote My Country : My Vote Not for Sale’ to  build  conducive environment for free and fair elections  on the eve of 2019 General Election and State assembly Elections, informed the State Coordinator of Odisha Election Watch Mr. Ranjan Kumar Mohanty.

The main purpose of the campaign is to increase voters’ participation; increase voters turn out and promote ethical voting.

The campaign shall be launched at 12th February 2019, at 11 a.m at Jayadev Bhavan Bhubaneswar and the campaign vans shall cover 30 districts of the state.

Maj. General (Retd.)  Anil Verma, Head ADR & National Coordinator, National Election Watch and many other Dignitaries, Celebrities shall speak on the occasion.

The OEW requested the public to be present for attending such awareness campaign and to give the programme a wide coverage along with strengthening the country’s democracy.
