BPIA Bags Best Airport Service Quality Award

Bhubaneswar: The Biju Patnaik International Airport (BPIA) of Bhuabneswar Odisha bagged Airport Service Quality (ASQ) award for best airport by size and region for the year 2018 along with five other airports in the Asia Pacific region in recognition of providing the best customer experience.

BPIA has been chosen in 2-5 million category by Montreal based Airports Council International.

Suresh Hota informed that “The BPIA won the ASQ award for being the best airport in terms of size and region (2-5 million passengers in Asia-Pacific),”

The Bhubaneswar Airport is followed by Chandigarh Airport, Devi Ahilyabai Holkar Airport in Indore, SM Badaruddin II Airport in Indonesia, SS Kasim II Airport in Indonesia and Yichang Sanxia Airport in China.

“It is a matter of great pride and pleasure for the airport to have marked its presence in the World Airport Community i.e Airport Council International by being No 1 amongst many. We convey our gratitude to our customers and all stakeholders, who have ranked us high in the survey,” the communique added.
