Google Updates Its Status On the Eve of the International Women’s Day

Bhubaneswar: As today is 8th March, the day on which the International Women’s Day is celebrated every year. Thus Google, the American multinational technology company that specializes in Internet-related services and products and most widely used, puts up its status for informing every body about this eve.

In its search engine it gives a mark of the day dedicated to women. ”After clicking on the search engine a person will find that this Internet Service Provider has made 14 slides to spread the information. It also gave a wish “Happy International Women’s Day 2019! Explore powerful words by women and illustrated by women from around the world! #GoogleDoodle #IWD2019”

Each of the 14 slides has a speciality since it consists of some clip-arts,pictures along with 13 quotes of some renowned personalities of the world in their own mother tongue  and it also provided translation to it. The personalities are Dr. Mae Jemison, an American astronaut and physician; Frida Kahlo, Mexian artist; Emma Herwegh, German writer; Yoko Ono, Japanese multimedia artist; NL Beno Zephine, Indian Diplomat; Mary Kom, Indian boxer; Clarice Lispector, Brazilian novelist; Zaha Hadid, British-Iraqi architect; Millicent Fawcett, British writer and suffragette; Marina Tsvetaeva, Russian poet; George Sand, French novelist; Sanmao, Chinese-born Taiwanese writer and lastly Chimamanda Adichie, Nigerian writer.
