Odisha Farmer’s Son To be Scientist in ISRO: CM Wishes Through Tweet

Bhubaneswar/Baleshwar: Alok Bhanja, who hails from Baleshwar district, is on the top of the list for being a scientist in ISRO. His father is a farmer who is the only bread winner of the family and is very much happy on his son’s success.

Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) had invited applications for selecting students for being scientist in the organisation for which around 7 lakh candidates had applied. Out of these, 100 applicants got selected and Alok ranked16th. After more screening the best 10 got shortlisted among whom Alok topped.

He had completed his 12th from Vijayanjali and is continuing his graduation at Fakir Mohan Autonomus College.

On his selection Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has congratulated this young scientist through his tweet.
