Damodar Rout Comes Back Odisha After Joining BJP

Bhubaneswar: Former Odisha Minister Dr Damodar Rout who reached Bhubaneswar today after joining the BJP at New Delhi yesterday exuded confidence that people in Odisha will vote the ‘corrupt’ BJD government out of power in the coming General Election.

Dama who had spitted fire against the Party supremo Naveen Patnaik reiterated his allegations before the reporters who had gathered at the Biju Patnaik International Airport.

Damodar said,

The time has come to oust the corrupt BJD government from State.

From airport Damodar came to BJP state office in a rally of his supporters. A grand meeting was held at the party’s state office to welcome Rout.

It is reported that Damodar Rout was keen to serve the people of his birthplace Balikuda-Ersama area under Jagatsinghpur district. He initially contested from Balikuda area before being shifted to Paradip constituency from where his son Sambit Rout is aspiring for BJD ticket.
