Low Pressure Triggers Rainfall In Odisha

Bhubaneswar: The regional meteorological centre in Bhubaneswar predicted heavy rain for 10 districts across the state for two days from June 28 under the influence of a low pressure system developing over North Bay of Bengal and neighborhood around June 30.

According to Met centre, heavy rainfall is very likely to occur at one or two places over districts of Jajpur, Bhadrak, Keonjhar, Sundergarh, Dhenkanal, Balasore, Koraput, Mayurbhanj, Nabarangpur and Kendrapara on June 28 and 29.
Besides, light to moderate rain is likely to occur at a few places in districts like Gajapati, Koraput, Rayagada, Malkangiri, Nabarangpur, Nuapada and at few other places in interior and coastal Odisha till 8.30 am on June 28.
