Naveen Hikes BSKY Health Coverage For Women

Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Government has increased annual health coverage from Rs 7 lakh to Rs 10 lakh for women under the Biju Swasthya Kalyan Yojana (BSKY).
Odisha Governor Ganeshi Lal while addressing the inaugural session of the sixteenth Odisha Legislative Assembly said, “Our women will now get Rs 10 lakh for their treatment instead of Rs 7 lakh under Biju Swasthya Kalyan Yojana”.
The Biju Swasthya Kalyan Yojana (BSKY) beneficiaries will now get annual health cover of Rs 5 lakh per family and Rs 10 lakh for the female members of the family.
Under the scheme, the State Government provides free health services and all health care facilities starting from Sub center-level up to District Headquarters Hospital-level.
