Bhubaneswar: In Odisha, ‘Super 30’ will expand its base from next session with the help of Zindagi Foundation in Odisha. Anand Kumar, the wellknown mathematician and the founder of ‘Super 30’ education project, is all set to establish a coaching program for IIT aspirants from economically weaker sections ofthe state.
As many as 30 Odia students from economically weaker sections of the society in Odisha would be selected and trained to crack the IIT-JEE entrance, Kumar said.
Anand Kumar was in Bhubaneswar yesterday afternoon to promote Hrithik Roshan starer Bollywood movie ‘Super 30’ based on his life story. The Patna based teacher’s ‘Super 30’ is a highly ambitious and innovative educational program running under the banner of “Ramanujan School of Mathematics”.
Anand started Super 30 in 2002. But he shot to fame in 2008 after all the 30 students of the batch cleared the IIT-JEE entrance examination.
Yesterday evening Anand watched the movie here in Bhubaneswar with hundreds of students from Akash Institute and Adyant Higher Secondary School.
Anand’s younger brother Pranav Kumar and founder of Zindagi Foundation Ajay Bahadur Singh were also present during the special screening of Super 30 at a city Cinema hall.
