Narendra Modi to Donate Seoul Peace Prize Money to Namami Gange Project

Bhubaneswar/New Delhi: Narendra Modi, Prime Minster of India, who received the Seoul Peace Award 2018 during his two day visit to South Korea on behalf of people of India, returned to country yesterday and announced that he will donate the prize money to the Namami Ganga Project. This project is also known as Clean Ganga Project, which is an initiative to clean the Holy Ganga River.

The prize money is worth $200,000 (Rs.13 crore). The money will be transferred to the fund of the project.
